https://bookfairs.scholastic.ca/bf/ericharvieschool

What?

Student purchases during school on Wed and Thu and family purchases from 4:00 to 7:30 on Thu and 8:00 to 12:30 on Fri.  For students, please help your child by sending their money in a baggie or envelope with their first and last name on it in their backpack, not on their person.  Wondering how much things cost?  The average book is about $8.00 to $20.00 and bookmarks/erasers/pencils/gadgets start at $1.00 and go up to about $20.00 for diaries. Debit and Credit is accepted.

For those wishing to surprise their child with purchases or gift them at a later date, please e-mail our school librarian at blcarde@cbe.ab.ca and she will arrange for you to pick up your order in the office.

Where?

EHS Learning Commons

When?

Student Purchases: during school hours on Wed and Thu

Family Purchases: Thu 4:30 to 7:00 and Fri 8:00 to 12:30

Why?

Scholastic Book Fairs promote literacy and support our Learning Commons by rewarding EHS with a percentage of all sales in books.

Grade 4 Alberta Education Assurance Survey

Alberta Education completes an annual survey to parents in grade 4 (and select upper grades) across the province. This survey:

  • Provides feedback to Alberta Education and Childcare on students’, teachers’, and parents' / legal guardians' opinions about their school, their schoolwork and the opportunities their school provides.
  • Provides important information on the quality of education students are receiving.
  • Results are:
    • used by schools, school authorities and the government to see what’s working and what needs to be improved; and
    • shared with the whole community.

Grade 4 parents would have received an email with a link to complete the survey over the past couple of weeks. You coils search your inbox for: “Alberta Education and Childcare Assurance Survey” to locate this email.

This is the final week for completing the survey. Our grade 4 students will also be completing the survey in class this week.

Thank you for your time and feedback!

Kindergarten Registration & Guide

Registration for the 2026-27 school year opened this week. Explore the Kindergarten Registration Guide for everything you need to get started!

  • Orientation for newly registered Kindergarten learners and families will be on Friday, June 5. Full information will be emailed to families in early March. We have also added some additional information for families that are new to Eric Harvie School HERE

We look forward to having your family join our school community in the years ahead! Please let us know if you have any other questions we can support your family with through this exciting step for your child!
