Costumes
Every student at Eric Harvie School is involved in the musical and has been asked to pick a sea creature that they are interested in being for the musical. We are asking that your student bring in a hat or a toque that you’re willing to “ruin” with their name (first and last) inside of it. At school, we will turn these hats into sea creatures. The dollar store is a great place to find a hat if you do not have one. Please have your student bring their hat by Monday, April 8th. If you happen to have an extra hat to donate, we will gladly take them. Please mark them as extra inside.
Your child will also need a blue shirt (any shade) for the performances. We will collect these at school at a later date. You can turn a shirt inside out or backwards as well.
If your student has a specific part in the musical we will be sending home individual notices for costumes.
If you are interested and have some skill in creating some specific costume pieces for our actors at home please contact Taryn Conley at tmconley@cbe.ab.ca

Veterans Food Bank Thank You
The Veterans Food Bank reached out with a thank you letter. Eric Harvie was able to donate 487 pounds of food which equates to $1,714.24 of food on the shelves. This will go a long way in serving Veterans and First Responders. Thank you so much for your support!
Lost and Found
Clothing Donations
Elementary schools regularly face scenarios where an emergency change of clothes is helpful - and the recent “Harvie Pond” we had near the amphitheater was definitely one of them! We appreciate many of our younger students coming to school with some extra dry clothes in their school bag each day.
We are looking for donations of new or gently used clothing in youth sizes 5-10. We generally need pants such as leggings or joggers, and a few pairs of good condition socks or new underpants would also be helpful. If you are able to donate, please drop the items off in the office during school hours. Anything that we are unable to use effectively at the school we will pass along to a charity. Thank you in advance!
