We have grouped together the groups to try to be efficient with the volunteer plan. Here are the planned times for each individual class:

Talent Show Submission

​​As we wind down another amazing year, Eric Harvie is hosting a talent show. We would love to see your talents through video format. This is a great way to see talents that can’t be performed in the school as well as those that can.  This adds some extra fun to our last week before the break. Please film your talent and add it to the Google folder Talent Show 2025. 

Please understand that anyone with the link can watch the videos in the folder. Please watch the video you submit before submitting it and edit it as needed. If you would prefer to transfer the video directly to me please use WeTransfer.com and use the email address jabaine@cbe.ab.ca. 

The deadline for talent show submissions is: Jun 18, 2025.   

To do: 1. Get set up and push record!

2. Introduce yourself and your talent

3. Show us your talent (videos more than 30 seconds will be

shortened)

4. Edit your video if needed

5. Watch it through (videos deemed inappropriate for school will not be used)

6. Click into the Google Folder and add your video

7. Wait to see which day your video will be showcased.

Transportation Updates

The legislation modified the transportation eligibility distance and how it is calculated. Transportation eligibility will now be measured by driving distance from your home to the front door of the school:

• 1.6 km for students in kindergarten - Grade 6

To find your school’s map, visit CBE’s Find a School Tool and follow these instructions:

• Search by School Name
• Then under School Profile - click on the school name 
• • Scroll down to the map that shows the walk zones

Transportation Registration Begins May 21

All students who are eligible for yellow school bus transportation would have received an email detailing how to register and proposed fees for 2025-26.

2025-2026 School Year Registration Now Open

All new registrations are completed online .

Please note: Registration is not determined on a first come first serve basis. 

Returning students are automatically enrolled in their next grade for the following school year and Grade 5 students are automatically allocated to their designated school for grade 6.

Yearbook 2024-2025 Orders!

You can order online at Lifetouch Yearbook Orders directly until the end of the school year..  $25 per copy and your Yearbook Order ID Code: 13134825. 

CBE Statements - Student Fees: 

CBE Parent Account Statements went home with those students who have outstanding fees owing. Fees can be paid through your MyCBE account www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe directly or feel free to visit the office where debit and credit payments can be accepted. Should you have any questions please contact Josie Cesario jccesario@cbe.ab.ca . Thank you for clearing up your fees timely. 

EHS Terry Fox Run Update

Eric Harvie School made the top 50 list for the schools that raised the highest amount in Alberta, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, coming in at Number 6! Way to go!
