Grade 1-5 Celebration of Learning - Save the Date - June 19!

We will be having an opportunity for our grade 1 - 5 learners to share some of their learning with families on Friday, June 19th from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. It will be a “drop-in” type of event where we hope you are able to stop in and see some of the great learning your child has done throughout the past few months. We will be sharing full details closer to the date and we hope as many families as possible will be able to attend.

Next year Kindergarten Orientation

Thank you to all the families that were able to attend the orientation for new learners and families today! It was great to connect in with some new families, or meet the next wave of little learners coming from current families! We have attached the orientation notes here and please reach out if there are any questions that came up after the orientation today. We will be providing staggered entry information …. Yellow School Bus Registration - Deadline is June 14

Families are now able to apply for yellow school bus service for the 2026-27 school year.  Registration must be received by the deadline to ensure students are added to routes for the first day of classes next year. Learn more about service levels and proposed fees.

Grade 5 Farewell  

Dear Grade 5 Parents,

As we prepare and plan for the Eric Harvie School Grade 5 Farewell trip to Calaway Park on Monday, June 22nd, we are asking families to let us know if their child already has a 2026 Annual Pass.

If your child has a 2026 Calaway Park Annual Pass, please reply to ehsfunlunch@gmail.com  with your child’s first and last name as soon as possible.

Pre-Order Instructions for Papa Johns Pizza

Coulee School - June 1-5

The weather certainly brought some challenges to being outdoors with a large group of children this week! With Monday and Tuesday being simply too rainy to make learning outdoors possible, we made the best of it with some of our art and storytelling sessions indoors! All grade groups were able to get out for at least a couple of excursions, with some really lucking out with lovely weather and a great opportunity to observe nature after a big rain. We will likely see groups choosing to go out another time or two before the end of the year to still complete the learning tasks that were planned for this week. Classroom teachers will reach out for volunteer support when these are planned.

Thank you so much for all the volunteers that were able to help support throughout the week. We greatly appreciate your time and helpful support for the learning that the classes took on this week.

As we prepare for the next school year, it would be helpful to know if your child will not be returning to Eric Harvie School for the next school year. 

Unless we hear otherwise we will assume your child will be attending EHS for the next school year. If you are moving out of the north Tuscany area, please check in with us about how this is handled within the CBE.

Please email Josie Cesario at jccesario@cbe.ab.ca  if your child(ren) will not be returning next year. We appreciate your assistance with our planning.  

CBE Statements - Student Fees: 

CBE Parent Account Statements went home with those students who have outstanding fees owing. Fees can be paid through your MyCBE account www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe directly or feel free to visit the office where debit and credit payments can be accepted. Should you have any questions please contact Josie Cesario jccesario@cbe.ab.ca . Thank you for clearing up your fees timely.
